The new Preferred Partner Program at Wittenberg University seeks to provide accessible and affordable educational opportunities for local professionals and their families.
Open to eligible professionals and their dependent children, the program provides tuition discounts and undergraduate scholarships. Employees of Preferred Partner Program organizations who apply and are admitted to Wittenberg can earn a 25% tuition discount to pursue graduate studies in the following programs: M.S. in Analytics, M.A. in Education, and M.A. in Sport Administration. The program also allows eligible, degree-seeking employees of Preferred Partner Program organizations and their dependent children to receive a $1,000 Preferred Partner Scholarship (split between semesters) to pursue their passion in one of Wittenberg's dynamic undergraduate degree programs.
"We are thrilled to introduce the Preferred Partnership Program as a testament to our dedication to supporting lifelong learning and career advancement," said President Michael L. Frandsen, Ph.D.. "By offering tuition discounts on select graduate programs as well as undergraduate scholarships, we aim to empower individuals and organizations to thrive in an increasingly competitive landscape."
To kick off the program, Wittenberg welcomed Clark State College as its inaugural member.
“At Clark State, we truly believe all individuals should have access to a quality education, including our employees,” said Jo Alice Blondin, Ph.D., Clark State president. “Thanks to this partnership, any Clark State employee who has been with the College for at least six months is now eligible to receive financial assistance for themselves or their children to pursue their academic goals at Wittenberg. In a world of competitive labor markets and high student loan debt, Clark State is proud to be part of an initiative that provides both personal finance and workforce solutions with a trusted partner in our own backyard. It was important to the community that Clark State be Wittenberg’s inaugural partner.”
"We are excited that Clark State is our inaugural partner in this program," added Maribeth Stevens, vice president for enrollment management at Wittenberg. "Our University already offers both incredibly strong academic and financial transfer pathways to Clark State transfer students, and our hope is that we will now be able to expand our work together for their employees to also pursue a Wittenberg degree."
Any organization or employer interested in becoming a Preferred Partner with Wittenberg is encouraged to complete the interest form or email admission@169577.com with questions.
